Top Heart Transplant Program

Our Heart Transplant Program is the largest pediatric heart program in Ohio, performing the largest volume of pediatric heart transplants annually for the past decade. Since the program began, we have performed more than 139 heart transplants, including patients from one-month-old to 33-years-old.

Our Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) program is a nationally recognized leader. We use devices to stabilize patients and support them while they wait for a donor heart (bridge-to-transplant) and to support those who are not transplant candidates (destination therapy).
