Cincinnati Children’s HLH Center of Excellence
As the most experienced facility in North America for treating Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), Cincinnati Children’s has assembled a team of researchers, physicians, philanthropists, and families who have faced an HLH diagnosis to create the HLH Center of Excellence.
A collaborative team of doctors, researchers, nurse managers and social workers led by one of the world’s leading authorities on HLH, Alexandra (Lisa) H. Filipovich, MD, supports the diagnosis, clinical care and treatment for HLH patients at Cincinnati Children’s.
The HLH Center treats patients from around the country, including adolescents and young adults. We will consult/evaluate patients of any age.
From diagnosis, to bone marrow transplant and long-term follow-up, the HLH Center of Excellence at Cincinnati Children’s provides physicians and families with a single resource for complete, family-centered care by the most respected HLH physicians.
